4. Cabrio Meeting in Switzerland, Swiss Alps
On the afternoon of July 7, 2001 - 31 convertibles met on the shores of Lake Como. From there they headed to the hotel at Livigno, where all gathered for dinner after check in.
On Friday morning we drove to St. Moritz, where we boarded the Bernina Express tourist train to Tirano. There, we had a hearty lunch of the local specialty, pizzoccheri. That afternoon we took the train back to St. Moritz, and spent the rest of the evening at the hotel.
Saturday a.m., we drove to Davos, taking the route along the Eira Pass, the Stelvio Pass, the Fuorn Pass and the Fluela Pass. During that leg we also visited the Swiss Natural Park museum and enjoyed lunch at the Post restaurant in Zernez. Gala dinner in romantic Davos, plus souvenir gift ceremonies.
Sunday morning we visited the Heimat museum, dedicated to the famous Swiss painter, then drove to Lenserheide where we had lunch and one last goodbye glass of wine.
